It is possible to know God personally.
In fact, the very reason God created us is so that we might know Him personally. (John 17:3)
The Bible says our sins have separated us from God (Isaiah 59:2)
Jesus Christ is the only way to God (John 14:6)
Acknowledge you have sinned against God, and that you desire to turn from that sin (1 John 1:8-9)
Believe Jesus Christ died in your place and rose again to be your Savior. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Invite Christ to direct your life.
If you truly want to have a personal relationship with God, you can express it with a simple prayer:
“Dear Lord, I want to know you personally. I am willing with Your help, to turn from my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus who died in my place and rose again to be my Savior. I here and now ask you to come into my life, to lead me and to be Lord of my life. Amen”
If you just prayed this prayer, now what? How do you grow in your relationship with God?

Excellent approach — offer a free gift (who can resist) and then tell people about the only gift that really matters. May many come to know the truth through your free gift page.

This is a great idea to encourage unsaved people to give their lives to Jesus Christ through a “free gift”. Great work

You will never know how much this has touched me. The article on lamin was very moving for me. As I go through a very dificult time in my life. I lost my father when I was 11 (he was 39) my mom just passed away in 8/07 and my step-father of 36 years passed away this April. As I mourn these losses I also have a brother on death row who maybe executed some time this year. I found myself wanting to scream so loud that I fear the results. My step brother has taken all legal papers with him (wills of all 3)and insurance policy on my brother that will enable me to burry him when the time comes. To make thing worse I am having to hire an attorney (a bill I truly can not afford) to get copies of the wills of my loved ones. So that I can carry out their wishes.
Please keep me in prayer that I will be able to do what GOD wants me to do
God bless
Jeri
